PRESENT TENSE
I have a little dog named Sasha, and each Saturday I go running to the park with her. There are many people around here. In the next street, a man looks what happens outside his windows. Suddenly I see two men. They are walking strangely; one is walking ten meters in front of the other. The second one has a mean look. It looks like he wants to hit the first man. Although, I want to know more about this problem and the fight between those men, I cannot because I have to return to my house.
The next day is Sunday, I have to go to market to buy some fruits and vegetables, but unfortunately nobody serves me, while I wait to review the newspaper. It seems that is a terrible story in the newspaper. The newspaper tells about a murder last night. I recognize the victim is the second man from last night walking strangely. After same time the police catch the suspicious man.
Finally the trial starts. I want to sit very near to jury see everything, but to my surprise, the man that I remember seeing in the window that Saturday morning is a jury, and the first strange man is suspect.
The courtroom has a thick fog over it. Two witnesses try to talk about the murder; the first one doesn’t finish her testimony, I don’t know why, and the second one looks scared and also doesn’t finish. The man of the windows seems to know what is happening here. He has a white face. He sees the victim´s ghost.
Suddenly a policeman finds a picture of the victim in the suspect’s wallet. The man is guilty although he tries denying all. The last words that the murder says are something like:
- He wanted to kill me, but I defended myself.
I like this tale because is interesting and the author get to captivate me with the plot of that murder and because the victim´s ghost makes discovery the true.

THE BRAZILIAN CAT
ReplyDeleteMarshall king was a man very rich, but his father didn't worry for him because the Marshall's uncle was with a lot of money and he didn't have children. Marshall's father said to him: ''one day my brother will leave all his money to you, while you are waiting, you can get a job at the bank of England''. But Marshall's father died very young and Marshall lived in expensive rooms in London and he didn't get a job at the bank; so he received more and more bills than he couldn't pay.
One day, Marshall received a invitation of his cousin, Everard king, he was a man very rich, he went to Brazil and he had many adventures there. He returned to England and bought a large house called Greylands. When Marshall arrived to Greylands, he saw than Everard was a man very generous but his wife wasn't.
Everard brought a big brazilian cat, he showed it to Marshall and he said to him: ''this cat's mother killed twelve mens, but this cat hasn't tasted a man's blood yet. When it does, it will be a terror''. This cat lived in a room, it had a cage in which Everard enclosed the cat every night, in the mornings, Everard opened the door cage, so the cat could walk for the room all day. Marshall stayed with Everard fo rsix days. The last day, before go to bed, Everard invited to Marshall to see the cat, so they entered to the cat's room, but Everard went out and Marshall stayed with the cat, so he was very scared and worried because he couldn't get out,The cage was open so Marshall had to think how could he save his life. After, he decided to get up on the top of the cage, so the cat could only atack him from below.
The next morning, the cat was cold, angry and hungry, it saw than Marshall was on the top of the cage, so it wanted to get up and kill him but Marshall pulled off his jacket and threw it on the animal's head, he jumped to the floor and pulled the cage door across, however, when Marshall was getting into the cage and pulling the door closed, the cat bit a piece out of his leg. He fell to the floor as the cage closed, blood poured from his leg, he lay there more death than alive, soon he was sleeping.
After, Everard came into the room and he closed the door behind him. He was pleased for the cat, but like the animal had tasted the human blood, it killed him. After Marshall was sound, he returned to London and his lawyer said to him: ''you are rich. Your uncle died six weeks ago and left you all his money''. Marshall´s uncle died the last day than Marshall visited to Greylands. The Everard king wanted to the cat kill to Marshall because he knew that, if Marshall was died when his uncle died, all his money will be to him.

The men felt scared and they run, one running to the north, one running to the south ans one running to west. The students run and they don't return, but Jess is a different man.
at the next morning the students meet at college,they go to class and in fron of the building is a carriage waiting,and there is Jess he say "I'm waiting for my money", next to Jess is the dead body of Henry Armstrong , his face is covered of blood and earth, sombody hit him and now he is dead.

OWN OPINION
I think that this story is interenting because is about suspense but i dont like that is unreasonable that a person is lay on his grave, Who do that? but i like how it finished.

The Tell-Tale Heart is the story of a young man who lives in the house of old man with a glass eye .
The problem is very strange because the young man lives peacefully , the problem is the discomfort and pain that produces glass eye old man . the young man does not know how or why he starts to think the idea of killing the old man, though , this murder is not revenge or spite, just to let the old man looking at him with that horrible light blue eye color, it is cloudy , like milk .
The young man thinks an idea, a bit crazy, but not stupid , which is to get every night at midnight in the room old man for analysis ; the young man entered the head with a flashlight shining face of the old man , but at that time I was not afraid , as the old man's eyes were closed, and that's why this young man watching hours .
All was well for 7 nights, but on the eighth night , unfortunately the lantern slides producing a noise that wakes the old, and it was an intense fear and as time passed the fear and terror was increased even more , until a moment began a loud sound , that sound is like a clock and came from the old man, the old man of the heart , which beats louder .
the young man is vigilant , until in a moment you feel the time has come so old rushes into the room, the old cry once ... just once . The young man throws the old man to the ground and throw the mattress on it and wait until I was dead and made sure of that .
Then the young man butchers and remove the old floor timbers , buries him there with such perfection it appear that nothing happened there. Leaving everything in place , everything being perfect. Since the morning, the police come to the house to investigate him because of the scream. The young man 's serving them with great subtlety and deceives .
The unlucky young man begins when a mysterious noise like a watch wrapped in cotton sounds louder to the point of exasperation take him , the young man tries to conceal speaking louder or running the chair abruptly which this on the body of the dead man. The desperate young man and takes him to incriminate himself against 3 policemen , showing the burial of the old . All because the young man hears the heartbeat of the old man.

The unlucky young man began when a mysterious noise like a watch wrapped in cotton sounded louder to the point of exasperation take him, the young man was speaking louder or hides the chair abruptly running which was about the body of the dead man. The despair of the young man and took him to incriminate himself in front of 3 policemen, showing the burial of the old. All because the young man listened to the heartbeat of the old man.
OPINION
I liked the story by the way it was related, also because the end was always a mystery, also by the author detailing very well the feelings of the young man, also as illustrated very well the glass eye of the old man and the environment , I liked that it was easy to read and mystery to the story made me.

One night he tries to kill him but he cannot because his evil eye is closed and in this way it is not scare him. Young man wants to kill old man and goes to his room a lot of nights but he cannot; one of them he make a noise and old man wakes up and asks "who is there?" but anybody answer and he cries because he knows that this noise cannot be wind or a mouse either, and he is afraid.
Young man does not move but turns on his lantern and a thin line of light fall on the old man's eye and it is open. He became angry, he hates the clear blue eye and decides to implement his plan but young man is worried because he hear a noise that he knows perfect, it is like BANG, BANG, BANG; definitely this noise is a heartbeat. He is desperate, jumps on old man's bed and pulls him to the floor. He pulls the mattress on top of him and pushes down hard on mattress.
Young man is happy because he can do it, he kills old man and puts his body under the floor and after he organize all things each in its place; but, when he is cleaning all, someone knocks at the door, he is very peaceful and opens the door; he looks three policemen and invites them to come in, one of them say that a neighbor heard a shout during the night and they would like to look around the house.
Young man cheerfully says to policemen that he is who shouted because he has a bad dream. He shows all places in the house to policemen and invites them to sit down into the old man's room; they accept and he brings his chair and puts it over the place where the body is. Policemen are quiet but young man starts to hear a terrible noise, it is each time louder; he begins to talk louder than before but he cannot stop to hear the noise. Young man recognizes the noise, it is heartbeat and he feels impatient and nervous. He looks policemen because they are happy and he cannot believe that they do not hear it.
He thinks that policemen are laughing at his horror and in an unexpected moment young man say to the police: "I feel like I am in hell! What a vile thing you are!” Finally, he can stand pressure and say: "Game over, I kill old man, his body is under floor, where the heartbeat is ringing"
This tale disappoints me because I imagine a mystery story for the title but it is only a very curious tale about man´s fault. I do not like the end because in my point it is so bored and I think it would be more interesting.

(London 1920)
The storyteller is walking in the garden when a letter fall, this is written in brown ink and he don´t see nothing around, he reads it, “if you find this letter, please help me. I´m locked in a room at the top of the white house. Don’t ask for me at the front door – she will kill me. Please climb to my window over the roofs. I cannot see any other window from my windows. Please come and help me”.
But he isn’ta young man, he has a bad leg. William when was eighteen he often climbed those roofs, a beautiful girl waited in the white house for him. Her name’s Valeria and her nasty older sister makes Valeria marry another man and she still lives in the house alone, her name’s Miss Rowsley.
After William shows the letter to his son John and they wait until it is dark and John climbs, when he reaches the windows calls softly, and the windows opens. After John cut through the metal and an angry voice breaks into the quite night. It is Miss Rowsley, in this moment William hears and starts to climb and looks through the window a girl. Miss Rowsley stands in the middle at the room with a candle and a knife. She says: you’ll never marry that stupid boy, I’ll kill you first. The girl looks up at the mad old woman and William sees her face, it is Valeria, she is still young and beautiful. Miss Rowsley raises the knife high above her head and at that moment John jumps, and William follows him and they held the old woman by arms. John says the girl: “We get your letter” and she says: “she’s my aunt, my father and mother died”. And she replies that she screams because her aunt would kill her. Miss Rowsley turns to William and says: “I´m sorry, I do it for you, I always love you, but you would never look at me.” Miss Rowsley’s words amaze to William and he let her go. She runs to the window and jumps and she never moves again. Then William asks the girl for her name, her age, and her mother´s name. She is Sophia and her mother is Valeria. Sophia studies in Italy and she marries an Italian artistic.
William still has the letter, it is written a piece of wood from the window. And that strange, brown ink is Sophia’s blood.

For me it is a good, because all story is very confused and funny.

A young man is a good guy he lives with an old man, he loves to old man, he thinks that is a nice person but, in his heart, slowly ugly feelings begin to be born although he don´t wants, because the old man has an eye that isn't clear blue, it is cloudy like a milk and he feel that when he look at the old man, his blood boils cold and he feels sick.
Isn't for his money, neither by he is a mad person, he isn't a mad person is only by the evil eye. after that this feeling grows up in his heart, he decides that he must to kill the old man. Every nights he visits the old man´s room and slowly and quietly, he open the door and he put his head into the room and with a lantern he lights the old man's face but the evil eye always is closed, and he decides not kill him still.
but one night (on the eighth night) he visits the old man's room and when he makes a little noise, the old man decide to sit up on a bed, and he asks who´s there, but nothing to do, the young man looks the evil eye and decides to kill to the old man and when, the old man's heart stops to do bang bang bang, he pulls him to the floor and he pulls up part of the floor and then he puts the body under the floor.
after, policemen touch to the door because the neighbour warns them that someone else is screaming in this house. But he doesn't afraid, he only thinks that he must create a lie and he says to the policemen that the old man is away in the country. and they sit down in the old man's bed but a young man begins to listen to old man´s heart and by this decides to confess the truth.

MY OWN OPINION: I choose this tale of terror because first I think that Edgar Allan Poe was Great writer althougth some peolple know this second: I think that this story theach me that the madnes are in anywhere and finally I think that also teach me that the truth always comes out

This story talks about a man and a woman, who get married and they don't decide where to go to honeymoon. The husband asks the wife if she likes the seaside, but she doesn't like, because when she is in the sea or she eat seafood, she feels sick, so he thinks that maybe they can to go to lake district, but she starts shaking and he ask her, what is her problem. After, someone Knocks on the door, he is not afraid. Three policemen come in, one of them says, “a neighbor heard a scream at night”. The young man answers, “It was me, in a bad dream”. He invites them at the old man´s room, and gives them a cup of tea. Here tell stories and laugh.
The young man begins to hear noises, and wants to hide them; he feels sick again. The policemen don´t hear anything and laugh about the terror of the young man. The young man is so worried and scared, that he decides to pull up the floor. He hears the old man´s heart.
Comment: I like this story because it teaches as that the blame is the loosest charge of conscience. This situation does our mean character confesses his blame. Truly, I think that the young man is not a bad person. May be he had mental problems.

Even if she has a lot of friends are possible that be hanging by the neck because a man, Sir Mathew has evidences about witchcraft, for this reason he says that Mrs. Mothersole climb up the Ash tree that is in front of his house and always she has in her hands a knife and her costume is black. Then she is sending to be hanging, but before of her death she says something to Mr. Mathew. One night Mr. Mathew and his friend Mr. Crome come back home, they see a strange anima climbing up the ash tree but after Sir Mathew into to the house, the next morning, the housekeeper knock but nobody open the door. After gardens open it, Sir Mathew is dead and back. Mr. Crome write notes, he says that there isn´t explanation about like Mathew´s body was without alive. Also, he use a habit. He opens the Bible and places her finger on a page and it gives answers, like “cut in down”. Fifty years later, Sir. Richard, Mathew´s grandson comes to Castringham Hall. He wants to build a church bigger but in that place there are a lot of graves, one of this is Mothersole’s grave but here there isn´t nothing. Sir Richard decides staying in this house, but the first night he can´t sleep because of noises. Then he decides to change bedroom. He sees a gentleman in front of grandson. The next night, Sir Richard died. The next day guests and gardeners looking for Mr. Mathew but is death on his bed. ReplyDeleteThis is the story of the man named Marshall King, he didn´t learn to work he only knew spend money, but his father didn´t worry about him, he thought that the work no was necessary for his son because he had a rich brother and after of his death his son would receive all their money; Marshall had a cousin too, he had made a lot money.
One day Marshall received an invitation to Greylands, from his cousin Everard, Marshall accepted that invitation because the court was also expecting him for he would pay all his bills or they would send him to prison. Everard had turned his garden into a zoo, when Marshall arrived to Greylands his cousin was very friendly but Everard´s wife was not. The next morning Everard showed his favorite animal it was a Brazilian cat, a large black cat; and he said. “ they are the most dangerous animals on the earth” but Everard didn´t feel fear for it because the cat obeyed to him, this cat was alone in a room into a cage .
Marshall stayed with Everard for six days more, it was the last night when a terrible storm begins suddenly the wind is louder and is very late. !is time for bed! But before, I am going to see my cat. Let´s go, said Everard. When Marshall enter to the room, Everard closed the door, Marshall runs to the door but he can´t open it, and he begs, !let me out! But Everard laugh evilly and he goes far away.
Marshall has very afraid and a cat that wants eat him though for now the cat only wants to sleep, so that Marshall has a moment to think, how to save his life though it seem impossible. So he has an idea, he decides to climb on top of the cage, he waits till dawn there. When the light come through the windows Marshall can see the cat, it is angry and hungry then Marshall thinks other thing: He throws his jacket on the cat´s head, he jumps to the floor and locks himself into the cage, and he waits for three hours there. When Everard comes back to the room sees to Marshall lying into the cage and the cat in a corner of the room, then Everard enters to the room and he dies, is his dear cat that kills him. That night almost died Marshall and that same night died his uncle. So that Marshall is now a rich man but if he would die, his cousin would receive all uncle´s money.

This story talks about three men that go to the graveyard to search a fresh dead body for their studies. Two of the men are medicine students. The other man called Jess digs the holes for the graves, cuts the grass and waters the flowers.
They dig the grave and they soon uncover the wooden coffin. They pull it carrefully from the ground and they take the Henry Armstrong's body but they don’t see that He is live. Suddenly, the sky lit up and henry Armstrong sits up. The three men run frightened. One runs north, one runs south and one runs west.
Later, in the morning next, the two students meet at the college. They go into the building and Jess is sitting, he says: I'm waiting for my money!. beside is the Henry Armstrong's body, somebody hit him with a spade.

One night while the girl trieds to sleep she saw the Madam’s ghost, and the ghost opened the door in the walk, in the corner of the room. She felt very afraid an toll her story to her aunt. Madam’s Gransdoon came to AppleWale House and listened the child. He though that the sotry was just a dream.
However, the Young man and the girl’s aunt dsicovered the bones of the Squier’s son. Madam Had Killed.
ONE SUMMER NIGHT. . .(PAST TENSE)
ReplyDeleteThis was a very interesting story,all began among some graveston in a small town in Nort America when a night Henry Armstrong was laying in his own grave,but he can't believe that he was dead,he just tought that he was very ill,
The night was quiet and dark. . .he was worried,suddenly he could see some lines of light above his coffin,there were three men,two of them were medicine students,they each with a spade finding a fresh body to study it,
The other one was Jess; the man worked in the graveyard and for many years had live among the graves,he dug the holes for the graves,watered the flowers and cut the grass in this place,it wasn't difficult to dig up the grave couse Jess had put the earth in only a few minutes before,it was easy to take it out again, Then. . .the world shook,it was a light acrossing the sky so the men ran for different sides,but jess waited there and took his spade.
Later,the two students met at the university and they could see a horse and a carriage waited there with Jess and he said here is the fresh body,i'm waiting for my money.
On the table there was the Henry Armstrong's body covered in blood and earth,jess had hit him with a spade.

Lana del Rey is my favorite singer cause she is absolutely complete she has all that I think that an idol must have.
she is songwriter and she plays guitar, all of her songs are about her life, she didn't have a good life because when she was 14 years old she was alcoholic, her youth was very terrible she sing in clubs because she loves to sing her musical career wasn't easy despite that she always was beautiful. her influences are singers like the members of "the 27 club " like Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, Brian Jones... also some actress and actors like Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley (she say that Elvis is her father Marilyn her mother and Jesus is her bestest friend lol), Frank Sinatra, Nancy Sinatra, too John F Kennedy. Although some people think that she isn't lana del rey, that her should be "Lana del sueño"I think that her lyrics are perfects she put many of she in to this songs, too she loves her fans, her fans are one of the most important things in her life and so I think that is all, maybe I can say that she is beautiful, she es magnificent. On the other hand, I love her songs all and each, songs like Video Games, Yayo, Summertime sadness, Ride, west coast, she is not me, radio, cola, carmen and many more,but I think that one of these, the most important song for me is GODS AND MONSTERS.
Gods and Monsters is also a ode to life, It is the reality of the world told in 4 minutes this song told that the paradise and the hell aren't out of this world but, the paradise and the hell are in this planet, are our countries and his sad realities, are the day to day, the paradise and the hell are inside of you or inside of me, you born clear but the society makes that you change not for good, the society isn't good, society marginalizes you, rejects you, label you, judge you. society corrupts you, and for this the heaven and the hell are here. thanks for read me
